We are a Sri Lankan tour company. We plan trips here because we live here — and we would rather tell you what a day on the road is really like than sell you a brochure.
Who we are
Who We Are
We are a small tour operator based in Sri Lanka. Our planners build the routes and our guides drive them, so the advice you get comes from people who have made the trip, not from a map.
Between us we have decades on these roads. That mostly shows up in small things: knowing which site to reach before the coaches do, how long a drive really takes in the rain, and when a famous stop is worth it. We plan trips that locals would be glad to see visitors take.

Our journey
Why We Do This
We started CeilonTravels because too many visitors were seeing the island through a bus window. Sri Lanka is small enough to cross in a day and varied enough to spend a month on, and the difference between a good trip and a forgettable one is usually who planned it.
So we keep the company small, we drive the routes ourselves, and we answer our own email. If a plan will not work, we say so early. That is the whole approach.
